God, this was bad.

If there was ever a moment in her life where she felt like Clint, this was it. Not only did she make herself her very own personal enemy, she was trapped in the more ghetto locations in New York. Joy. Not that it bother her.

Kate inhaled, deeply. Gasping for air from the intense amount of running around. It wasn’t just hiding, but a desperate means of grasping a plan out of thin air. Her head thumped back against the brick wall of a building she was behind of. Blue eyes staring up into the dark cloudy skies. Rain. Great.

The archer clutched the bow in her hand tight to her chest, listening for the steadily paced footsteps that were one Whitney Frost. They did say the 4th time was the charm. Or was it 3rd?

She looked around, eyes desperate for some form of leverage. Anything to throw Whitney off her guard. Were they even on first name basis yet?

Unconsciously, the tips of her fingers pressed against the inside of her thigh. Recalling the memorable the elder woman bestowed upon her.

Right, think fast.

Whitney had contacts in high and low places. These types of things came in handy every now and again; in this instance now, as she began giving chase to one Katherine Bishop. The little thorn in her side for the past few months.

She had completely caught Whitney off-guard. She was at some big villain meeting in New York- wearing heels and a dress, for Christ’s sake! But she always wore her mask in these social situations, and carried one of her two golden Beretta’s and her favourite switch-blade. 

The little Hawkeye wasn’t a super-sleuth just yet. Her footsteps were heavy as was her breathing, so she was easy to keep up with. Whitney found her hiding behind a brick wall. Damn. She wouldn’t be able to sneak up behind her now…
